A teenager fought off a group of masked thugs who threatened him with a knife and demanded he hand over his rucksack in Chesham at the weekend.
On Saturday (January 14) a 15-year-old boy was waiting for a bus outside the Baptist church, in The Broadway, at around 11.45am when he was approached by three boys.
The group threatened the victim with a knife and demanded his rucksack, however the teen fought the offenders off who then immediately fled the scene.
Nothing was stolen and the victim was not injured.
The offenders are Asian, believed to be younger than 15-years- old. They were wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered.
Investigating officer, det Con Mark Banham, said: "This was a frightening incident for the victim who was threatened with a knife, but he bravely fought off the offenders who then fled the scene on foot.
"I am confident that someone will know who the offenders are, either by the descriptions or because they have mentioned the incident to a friend or relative.”
