Burger King could be set to open in High Wycombe town centre.
The fast food chain appears to be preparing to open a new branch in the Eden Shopping Centre.
Eagle-eyed readers spotted a notice in the window of the recently closed Villagio Ristorante today suggesting Burger King will open in the premises in March this year.
The company and Eden Shopping Centre have not yet commented on the rumoured plans, but a job advert from Burger King Saxby Ltd has also been posted on national website Indeed looking for a general manager, shift manager and supervisors for a High Wycombe restaurant.
If the speculation is true, the opening is likely to please many Wycombe residents.
Over the years, thousands of online campaigners have called for a Burger King to open in town, with more than 1,400 people joining the ‘High Wycombe Eden Centre Needs a Burger King and it Needs One Now’ group in 2010.
