Motorists are facing traffic chaos in High Wycombe town centre this afternoon after a water main burst near to long-term roadworks.
Thames Water workers have apologised for any disruption after being called to the site this morning.
The pipe burst near to the ongoing work by Bucks County Council at the junction of Desborough Road and Bridge Street.
Drivers have previously complained of the difficulties in getting around that part of town since work began on the alternative route this year.
Multi-way traffic lights have been put in place to ensure traffic can keep moving, while a Thames Water spokesman says they hope to leave the scene today.
