A historical mural honouring former High Wycombe mill workers has brightened up a “dingy” alleyway in the town.
Artist, Daniel Wilson, has created the giant piece of artwork at the former site of Marsh Mill, in Wycombe Retail Park, depicting workers at the paper mill in the early 1900s.
The project, launched by Thames Valley Housing, will also see an information plaque placed on the mural, describing the history behind the artwork.
Mr Wilson, who also produced the mural at the historic Brunel Rail Shed at High Wycombe Rail Station, said: “We had a couple of ideas, we knocked on a lot of doors around the area and everyone seemed to like the history theme.
“A lot of people remember what it was and the work that people did there and they wanted to sing about it.”
