Community groups from around the Chiltern district are being invited to apply for grants of up to £2,000 to help them in their work.
The grants are awarded to Chiltern groups and organisations “actively involved” in their communities, “helping to improve people's lives or local services”.
Chiltern District Council (CDC) bosses said the aim of the grant scheme is to “provide support to local community groups in their work, while enabling them to seek further funding from other external agencies”.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate how their projects support CDC’s objectives, including improving services in the area, supporting the economy, improving community engagement and helping to create a greener and more sustainable environment.
