A teenager has been charged in connection with a chemical attack in High Wycombe.
Xeneral Webster, 18, of Westway, Hammersmith and Fulham, London, was charged yesterday (June 13) with one count of robbery.
The charge is in connection with an incident on June 3 when a 47-year-old woman suffered “serious” burns after a liquid, believed to be an alkaline substance, "kicked" over her while she was sitting on a bench in Frogmoor.
According to police the woman was taken to hospital after sustaining serious injuries, and she has since been discharged.
No further action was taken against three men aged 19, 20 and 24 who were arrested this month on suspicion of GBH with intent in connection with the incident.
Webster was remanded in custody to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court today (June 14).
Thames Valley Police have not been able to confirm more details of the robbery charge.
