Firefighters called to motorway lorry blaze near Gerrards Cross

Firefighters raced to a lorry blaze on the M40 near Gerrards Cross yesterday afternoon (August 14).

Crews were called at around 5.20pm following reports that the brakes of a lorry were ablaze at the M40 junction 1a interchange to junction 2, Gerrards Cross.

One fire crew from Gerrards Cross attended the scene however the fire was out on arrival.
