A police search is underway after a man threatened two PCSOs with a metal pole during a bike robbery in Wooburn Green earlier this year.

On May 2 at around 1pm two female officers seized an off-road bike from a man in Brookfield Road under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.

According to police he became verbally abusive towards the officers before walking off, then returning to threaten them with a metal pole before fleeing the scene on the bike.

Police have appealed for the help of the public to trace 24-year-old Matthew Davis in connection with the incident.

He is black, approximately 5ft 7ins, slim, with short dark cropped hair and known to frequent High Wycombe, Wooburn Green and Bourne End.

The bike is white and orange and has the number plate 'KTM KING' and the letters KRM written in white on the side.

Anyone who sees Mr Davis is told not to approach him but call 999 immediately quoting the reference 43170126210.
