Two men have been arrested after £10,000 of perfume was stolen following two burglaries at Boots in Thame and Wallingford.
A 35-year-old man from Monks Risborough and another 35-year-old man from Waddesdon were both arrested last Monday (November 20).
It came after there was a break-in at Boots, in Market Place, Wallingford, on November 14 at around 3.30pm where a front window was smashed and perfume was allegedly taken.
It followed another, similar incident at around 4.30pm on November 4 at the Boots in Thame’s High Street.
Both men have been released under investigation, police confirmed.
Investigating officer PC Mark Wright, based at Thame police station, said: “We have made two arrests following this incident but we are still appealing for the public to get in touch if they haven't already done so to assist in our investigation.
“We would also continue to ask anyone who has seen large quantities of perfume up for sale to please get in touch.”
