Two women injured after M40 pile-up
Two women were injured in a four-car pile-up on the M40 earlier today.
Emergency services raced to the scene of the crash between junction 3 (Loudwater) and junction 4 (Handy Cross) after receiving 999 calls at 12.38pm.
Four cars were involved and there were huge queues of traffic while crews treated passengers inside the vehicles.
Two women were injured, but the authorities have not yet confirmed what their current condition is.
