Bucks could be battered by "very strong" winds on Wednesday night, the Met Office is warning.
The weather service has put a yellow warning in place from 9pm on January 17 until 1pm on January 18.
Strong gusts could result in power cuts, disruptions to road, rail and ferry services and mobile phone coverage.
The Met Office also claims injuries and danger to life from flying debris is possible, along with some damage to buildings.
The warning covers areas including Windsor, Maidenhead, Great london, Milton Keynes, Reading, Slough and Oxfordshire.
