Police are hunting a baby-faced young man in connection with almost 60 burglaries across 14 counties.

Miles Connors, 21, is said to have carried out a theft-rampage across a large swathe of England with his gang, police believe.

Many of the burglaries took place in the south-east of England, with ten in Surrey and seven in Buckinghamshire – including in High Wycombe and Iver.

Surrey Police are appealing for help to track down Connors, who is part of a gang suspected of targeting elderly and vulnerable homeowners.

Two men have been arrested and charged for the 59 burglaries, involved items of jewellery being taken as well high-performance cars, which are then used to commit other crimes.

Connors is described as being of slim build and has brown hair and is said to have links to Northampton, Slough, West Drayton and London.

Detective Sergeant Lee Hazell said: “We have been working tirelessly to find Miles Connors and now need the public’s help.

“He is wanted for questioning in connection with a large number of burglaries across an extensive area and we do not want there to be any further impact on the public.

"Connors is part of a gang that have committed approximately 60 burglaries between July and March in 2017.

“The offences we are investigating include burglaries of elderly and vulnerable people who have been left extremely traumatised by what’s happened, as well as some dangerous driving which has included going through a train level crossing barrier which could have put a vast number of lives at risk.

“We cannot let this continue and would ask that if you have any idea where he is you must let us know – if you do know where he is I would ask you to consider how you would feel if it were your elderly relatives that had been burgled.

“If you have any idea where he is, please let us know immediately."
