A consultation on plans for waste management and mineral prospecting in Buckinghamshire has been extended.
Following requests from stakeholders, Bucks County Council (BCC) has extended the deadline for the consultation on the blueprint to 5pm on Thursday, May 3.
The mineral and waste local plan for the next 20 years aims to forecast the future waste management needs for the county, taking into account housing growth set out in the local plans, according to BCC.
Cabinet member for planning and environment, Bill Chapple, said: “This is an important stage for consultation and it is important that the community and stakeholders have the opportunity to make their comments, which we value, and we feel that further publicity to the consultation and extension of time to respond shows our commitment to engage with the wider communities in Buckinghamshire."
