Hazlemere's biggest celebrity, James Corden, went from Wycombe to Windsor as he played host to the Royal wedding reception on Saturday night.

The star rubbed shoulders with the likes of George and Amal Clooney and Idris Elba at the extravagant celebration on May 19, and compered the evening reception at Frogmore House.

It came just before he revealed he almost ruined Harry and Meghan's big day by sneezing during the ceremony - thanks to his allergies to the flowers on display.

James grew up in Hazlemere and went to Park Middle School and Holmer Green Upper School as well as Jackie Palmer Stage School in Bridge Street.

He has since gone on to be a global celebrity and continues to make a name for himself in America hosting The Late Late Show.

Alongside Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock, James is considered to be one of the biggest names to come from High Wycombe.

And residents from the town were quick to offer their support to the star.
