TV stars Pauline Quirke and Pam St Clement paid a Bucks charity a visit following the opening of its new restaurant.

The EastEnders actress and Birds of a Feather star visited Saunderton-based Hearing Dogs for Deaf People to try out its new restaurant, The Grange.

All profits from the restaurant go to the charity, which trains dogs to help deaf people live better lives.

Speaking about their visit, Pauline said: “I am a keen supporter of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and, as I live in Buckinghamshire, I wanted to visit the new restaurant and gift shop to show my support for the great work the charity does.

“The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and I was really impressed with the design of the venue itself – I’ll definitely be back.”

The restaurant serves food during the day, with plans to extend to early evening service later this summer.

Pam said: “I have been a supporter of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People for many years and have always been impressed by how much the charity does to change the lives of deaf people across the country.

“That is why I was delighted to become an ambassador for them.

“The Grange restaurant and gift shop is a great way for the charity to raise further awareness of what it does, particularly in the local area and I really enjoyed my visit.

“I was extremely impressed with the delicious food.”
