More than 100 firefighters are on the scene as crews tackle a huge field fire affecting around 10 acres in Little Marlow, with roads across south Bucks grinding to a halt.
Eyewitnesses have reported seeing dozens of emergency vehicles on the scene and low-lying smoke is expected to affect roads near the Wyevale Garden Centre.
A number of water tankers are also on their way to the scene.
The A404 has been closed in both directions and other nearby roads, including Winchbottom Lane, have also been shut.
Videos and pictures posted on Twitter shows thick smoke billowing across the field as firefighters attempt to bring the blaze under control.
