A PARISh council has vowed to rid a children’s play area of graffiti after concerns were raised to police.

Hazlemere Parish Council said it will remove graffiti from a playground, in particular the Spinney play area after members of the public reported it.

Thames Valley Police are aware of the graffiti and are working to identify the culprits.

The Parish Council has also thanked the community and police for working together to tackle the issue of graffiti around Hazlmere.

In a social media post, they said: "There was a recent increase of graffiti across Hazlemere and in particular, the Spinney play area. With help from members of the public and the Police Officer's dedication and diligence, the offenders have now been identified and it has been resolved through Community Resolution. They are working with the Police Officer to remove the graffiti through the community.

"Thank you again for your help and support and for once again reminding everyone of the great Hazlemere Community."
