Celebrities across Buckinghamshire have been paying their tributes to Queen Elizabeth II who died on Thursday (September 8).

Comedians, actors, singers, reality stars and sportspeople across the county have shared their condolences on social media.

Marlow's chef Tom Kerridge paid tribute to a leader who showed "the meaning of duty and service."

X-Factor's Sharon Osbourne said: "Rest In Peace Queen Elizabeth ll, the longest reigning monarch. The embodiment of strength and dignity, upholding and performing her vow to The United Kingdom.

"Unwavering. May you be at peace beside His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Long Live The King."

Russell Brand dedicated a whole Youtube video reacting to Queen Elizabeth's death. 

Bourne End's Lorraine Kelly, who presents her own show said she was "honoured" to have met the Queen.

Lorraine said shared a picture of her receiving a CBE from The Queen.

She said: "So sad. She’s been here my whole life. What an incredible monarch. We won’t see her like again. Honoured I got to meet her. The whole of the nation wrapped up in one formidable, kind, caring woman. Thoughts with her family and all who loved her. #thequeen #RIP"

Ross Kemp, who lives in Cookham, posted his tribute on Instagram. 

He said: "The Queen served her people unflinchingly with dignity and grace. She has been a steady hand guiding our country through its ups and downs for the last 70 years.

"She will be sadly missed, not only here but around the world. She dedicated her life to the service of her people as she promised. God save the King."

Chalfont St Peter's Cheryl Cole said: "May you spread your wings and fly into the loving arms of your awaiting Prince .. thank you for your service. Rest peacefully."
