A real Aladdin's cave

This article is brought to you by our exclusive subscriber partnership with our sister title USA Today, and has been written by our American colleagues. It does not necessarily reflect the view of The Herald.

I AM writing as a committee member of the Marlow Townswomen's Guild, to compliment the organisers of the Wycombe Recycling Zone on the Cressex Industrial Estate.

As a lively guild we are involved in drama, craft and yearly bazaars, and are very aware how difficult it can be to obtain materials for our props, costumes and craft projects.

On our visit to the zone, we were amazed at the amount of choices we had - a real Aladdin's Cave.

We were able to select and take away some lovely materials and craft items, all free of charge.

The only outlay was £40 for a yearly Members' Zone Card.

It must be a godsend for schools, play groups and the like. How great it is to recycle something you may not have a need for, but may serve a purpose elsewhere. May this Recycling Zone flourish, and may its existence be made known to all in the High Wycombe area.
