ROAD-USERS have been warned to take extra care as the summer sunshine brings more motorcyclists out and about.
The call comes after a collision between a car and a motorbike on Thursday evening.
The crash took place on the A40 between Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross near the junction with Potkiln Lane, at around 6.45pm.
Marc Lister, spokesman for South Central Ambulance Service said people should be aware that longer evenings mean more motorcyclists are out enjoying the weather.
He said: "There is a potential for danger at this time of year - car drivers just aren't used to seeing more motorbikes on the road."
Two ambulances attended the incident, along with firefighters.
A man in his 30s was thrown from his motorcycle in the accident, and sustained suspected limb and back injuries.
He was taken to Wexham Park hospital in Slough, but his condition is not thought to be serious.
Firefighters cut a man out of the car, who was also taken to Wexham Park hospital.
