CAREERS fair brought job seekers and businesses under one roof in Buckinghamshire.
Hundreds of people attended the fair at High Wycombe Town Hall on February 8 in search of their next career step.
The Town Hall was filled with buzz as almost 300 people came to the fair hosted by Bucks Free Press with support from se1jobs.com.
Organiser of the event and sales manager Sharon Wilson from Local IQ commented the successful day: “The feedback we got was positive.
“Everyone said it was nice to have something in the community like this.
“There isn’t that many job events in Buckinghamshire.
“Considering it was our first event, it was encouraging to see a footfall of almost 300.”
She praised the atmosphere and the efforts of the eager 20 stall holders representing businesses from across Buckinghamshire.
The recruiters also left the event feeling happy, Sharon said.

“The venue was easily accessible. All in all, it was successful,” she added.
The Fremantle Trust, Macintyre Charity and Bucks College Group were among the stall holders.
Daisy Rutland from The Fremantle Trust said: "We currently have around 50 open vacancies. We haven't had anybody yet put in an application after the fair, but I hope so.
"I think it went really well, but the main problem was parking as always. We spoke to a lot of people, and many came through the door. I spoke to more than 70 people! It was well organised and a good day."
Next job fair by Bucks Free Press will take place on September 22.
