Gareth Ainsworth’s departure from Wycombe Wanderers to Queens Park Rangers ends what has been an incredible journey for the ex-winger.
Starting out in 2009, coincidentally on loan from QPR, to becoming manager and achieving the impossible with promotion to the Championship, the 49-year-old’s tenure at Adams Park could arguably be the best ever in the history of the club.
