Stargazers around the world enjoyed the conjunction of Venus and Jupiter last night.
In Buckinghamshire, most people spotted it between 6 and 7pm with the two planets looking like they were drawing a dotted line up to the Moon.
Captioning her shot, Anne Rixon wrote: "The sky tonight, a bit of a nuclear sunset followed by an amazing alignment."
Clear skies last night created the ideal conditions for the picture that captures this meteorological treat showing Venus and Jupiter below the crescent moon.
