Thames Water maintenance works in High Wycombe has left residents without water this lunchtime.
The water company reported Cressex Road is "currently experiencing low pressure or no water."
Specialist engineers are on the site working to get the supply back to normal.
At the same time, planned maintenance is being carried out in Cressex Road until March 6.
A statement online said: "We're working with the local council and highway authorities so we can carry out the repair as quickly and safely as possible. Sometimes we need more time (for example, to get the right permit or permission), but we’ll finish our work as soon as we can."
Traffic control multi-way signals are in place at the junction of Cressex Link and Cressex Road.
