THE Bucks Free Press is celebrating 167 years of trusted local news by giving away sustainable tote bags to readers - to say thanks for their loyal support.

Since 1856, the award-winning newspaper has been serving the community of High Wycombe and surrounding areas with public interest journalism, entertainment and local sport.

And to celebrate, the paper’s editorial team is inviting readers down to their offices in Station Road, Loudwater, to meet the editor Katie French and deputy editor Naomi to have a chat about local issues and receive a free BFP tote bag.

Naomi said: “The Bucks Free Press has long been a voice for residents in the area to both give light to important local issues as well as celebrate community achievements.

“We continue to drive the importance of providing trusted local news, and our dedicated news team is keen to hear more on what readers would like to see from the BFP.

“You are the reason behind every news story and we look forward to meeting you at the office to hear more.”

  • To get a free tote bag and meet the editors, pop down to the Bucks Free Press editors tomorrow (Friday, March 17). From 9.30am until 1.30pm, editor Katie French and deputy editor Naomi Herring will be on-hand to speak to readers. The office is at Station Road, Loudwater, High Wycombe.
