Marlow is the place to be in Bucks this weekend, with the town's annual Regatta and Festival featuring a huge funfair among other attractions.

Higginson Park in Marlow has been transformed this weekend into a sprawling funfair, keeping children busy while the town's annual rowing regatta and garden party takes place along the Thames.

As teams from around the UK competed in the boat race yesterday (June 10), residents also took the chance to mingle with the French community of Marlow's twin town Marly-le-Roi, who stopped by to celebrate 20 years of twinning history.

Olympic rower Sir Steve Redgrave kicked off the weekend with an opening speech which celebrated "members of the community and local rowers coming together".

Traylens Fun Fair started celebrations early, opening for thrillseekers in Higginson Park on Thursday, June 8 ahead of its closing date today, Sunday, June 11.

The regatta celebrations are also continuing today, with a dog show, animal petting, dragon boat racing and more.

Even better, Sunday of the regatta is open to all with free entry all day. There's no better way to make the most of the sunshine!
