Rail passengers in Amersham delayed by 'obstruction' on line (Image: Chiltern Railways)
An obstruction on the line has caused long delays and cancellations for rail passengers.
Train services in Amersham and Great Missenden are still being affected by delays and cancellations on the London Marleybone line.
Chiltern Railways has not confirmed what the obstruction is on the line between Amersham and Great Missenden.
One rail passenger explained how there were only "two carriages instead of 4 or 5 for the 6:40 from Great Missenden to Marylebone".
A spokesman from Chiltern Railways apologised for the fewer carriages and said: "we are doing all we can to get carriages into service as quickly as possible."
