A new café has opened its doors at a co-working space in Buckinghamshire.

Django’s café opened this summer at the new co-working space Patch inside the old Wycombe library.

Django's is the brainchild of couple Melina Lympoudi and Chris Evangelidis who moved to the UK from Greece in 2015.

Primary school teacher Melina said: “It all started 10 years ago when we got our dog , Django. We always said that when Chris would manage to have his own coffee business, we would name it after our Django!

“Coffee is Chris’s passion, he is an SCA qualified barista, certified with the SCA Coffee Diploma.

“Patch has given us a great opportunity to put Django under a roof and we are really excited for the future. We take great pride in what we do at Django’s and always aim to treat our customers with high quality products.”

Previously Django’s was run as a mobile van at the Eden Shopping Centre.

But the van is now under new owners so that the couple can focus on the coffee shop, Melina explained.

Being under a roof meant “a lot” as it allows the couple offer their “well-known” food, she said.

Dogs were welcome along as their owners come to sample the toasties made with sourdough or focaccia bread, fresh sandos, breakfast dishes, the couple’s favourite Greek cuisine, smoothies or cakes.

Coffee fans are treated to a house blend from the Marlow-based Coopers coffee bar while the tea comes from the Chiltern-based Two Spoons tea company, Melina said.

The cafe has a no laptop policy between 12-2.30pm but customers wanting to work and enjoy the food could get 10 percent off at Django's when purchasing a day pass or membership at Patch co-working hub, Melina added.
