A pizza restaurant in Buckinghamshire has introduced live cooking displays and a redesigned interior to celebrate its 10th birthday.

Staff at Pizza Express on Packhorse Road in Gerrards Cross are reportedly 'thrilled' to welcome customers back after a restaurant revamp marking 10 years in the Buckinghamshire town.

Alongside a reimagined interior, which now features artwork by Pizza Express founder Peter Boizot, diners will be treated to demonstrations by Pizzaiolos (pizza chefs) from their tables.

General Manager of the Gerrards Cross restaurant, Sanja Lourai, said she and her 30 team members were excited to show off the pizzeria’s new look.

“Our team is thrilled to be welcoming customers back to our new-look restaurant for their favourite pizza. I’ve worked at Pizza Express for 24 years and I’m thrilled to be leading our Gerrards Cross team.

“We can’t wait to make our customers’ mealtime our showtime!”

The chain restaurant has also recently launched its autumn menu, with exclusive items including the Pizza Dolce, served with white chocolate sauce and salted caramel, and the Romana Pollo Fiesta spiced chicken pizza.
