If you’re planning to take the new bus from Buckinghamshire to London, this is what you should know before your trip.

The new Oxford Tube service from High Wycombe to London launched officially on October 23.

Passengers can now travel from the High Wycombe Coachway directly to London Victoria, London Baker Street or Hillingdon Monday to Friday.

They can also travel the other way from London to High Wycombe or Oxford.

High Wycombe Coachway is located next to the High Wycombe Park and Ride just off the M40 junction 4 Handy Cross.

Oxford Tube tickets and prices

 

Bus tickets can currently only be bought on-board from the driver.

Online ticket purchase and advance booking for High Wycombe is expected to become available on the Oxford Tube website by the end of November.

A single journey for an adult from High Wycombe costs £10 and £15 for a return.

An extra £1 will be charged for all tickets bought on-board.

On-board tickets can be paid for with contactless, by Apple or Android mobile pay or using cash. Cash paying passengers should ensure they have the correct change. Although the drivers carry cash, at times they may have to issue a change voucher instead of cash change.

There will be ten services from High Wycombe to London on Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).

Here are the times when the bus stops at the Coachway to London:

  • 06.59, 08.00, 09.02, 10.03, 11.01, 14.00, 15.01, 16.03, 17.10, 18.12
