Teenagers from Buckinghamshire have become the first British dance group to perform at an NFL game across the pond.

Students from Princes Risborough School seized the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to dance at a National Football League game, maybe the most-watched sport in the United States.

Nineteen students from the school flew out of Heathrow as part of a troupe of 160 dancers from across the UK, Norway and Texas to dance at the Hard Rock Stadium in sunny Miami, home of the Miami Dolphins team.

Before the big showdown on Monday, December 11, the students rehearsed tirelessly for two days.

The first performance on match day was outside the stadium with the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders, which was live-streamed internationally on social media.

Then they watched the first quarter of the game against the Tennessee Titans before walking down to the pitch to perform in the halftime show with rapper and singer Jhayco to a full football stadium.

“They had the experience of a lifetime and made lots of memories over the five days,” Princes Risborough School said.
