A Christmas fair at a National Trust manor is offering gift shopping in a ‘stunning’ setting.

The impressive National Trust manor is holding its annual Christmas fair with market stalls selling food, drinks, homeware, gifts for pets, clothing, skincare, accessories and jewellery located on the grounds of the historical estate.

The upcoming weekend is the last chance to visit the Christmas fair as it is due to wrap up on Sunday, December 17.

One of the independent businesses making an appearance at the fair this weekend is QueenMee, a hair accessory and jewellery firm established by Amanda Waterstone Carthy, the daughter of Waterstones bookseller founder Sir Tim Waterstone.

Amanda partnered up with Aylesbury Women’s Aid Shelter, meaning for every £100 spent on QueenMee in November and December, a sparkling hair accessory or jewellery will be donated to a woman or child staying at the shelter.

Amanda said: “It has been going very well, and it is lovely to meet new customers at the Fair. I love the Christmas atmosphere, and the incredible house and light display there.

“Our QueenMee initiative for Aylesbury Women's Aid Shelter has been a big success so far - and we still have 10 days to go before our last Xmas shipping date on Thursday, December 21.

“We have so far set aside 54 sparkling accessories for the women and children who are at the shelter, thanks to the support and generosity of our customers.”

The Waddesdon Manor Christmas Fair will be open for one more weekend between Friday, December 15 to Sunday, December 17 from 12-7pm.

Admissions to the Christmas Grounds area start from £12.
