The hit musical ‘SIX’ is returning to the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre on tour at the end of January.

‘SIX’ will be in town for eight performances from Tuesday 23 January to Sunday 28 January on their UK tour.

The hit musical features six performers playing the wives of King Henry VIII retelling the well-known rhyme ‘divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived.’

Nominated for both Olivier and WhatsOnStage awards, the show has proved popular on both the West End and Broadway.

It was created by two students at Cambridge, Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, who were responsible for making a show to take to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017.

The show centres the Queens as pop princesses, telling their own stories through six solos and three group numbers.

Accompanied by a live band, the show is less of a classic musical and more like a concert with constant singing and no interval.

Little prior historical knowledge is required, and the storyline is simple, centring the music and party atmosphere within the theatre.

There are only a few tickets left for the last few shows of their run at the Aylesbury Waterside, which can be bought at https://www.atgtickets.com/shows/six/aylesbury-waterside-theatre/.
