Students at schools in and around High Wycombe are to star as the presenters of a new online TV show about Wycombe Wanderers.

'Trust In The Blues', which launched on YouTube this month, features all the latest exciting news from the Supporters' Trust as well as the rest of the Chairboys community.

The first 'pilot' episode is hosted by two sixth formers, Ella Lala from Wycombe High School, and Freddie Rockett from John Hampden School.

The show will include a film about the army of matchday volunteers at Adams Park, an exclusive interview with the club's owner, Rob Couhig about his plans to attract more matchday fans, and the family which has three generations who are all diehard Chairboys supporters.

Meanwhile, in the first of a regular strand, host Ella surprises Caroline Spence, a PE teacher at Wycombe High School, with four free tickets to watch the Blues at Adams Park.

Caroline's Year 8 students sent a letter nominating her as the show's first 'Local Hero' saying: "She's a great teacher and she makes PE fun.

"Please can you give her a nice surprise - she really deserves it!"

Former TV executive, Bob Massie, Chair of Wycombe Wanderers Supporters' Trust, who came up with the idea for the show, said: "Ella and Freddie did a fantastic job presenting the first episode.

"Now we want to find sixth form students from other local schools as presenters and reporters for the show.

"We are also hoping that by highlighting the marvellous matchday experience at Adams Park, as well as the fun ways the Supporters' Trust and the rest of the Wycombe Wanderers family get involved in the local community, we can encourage more people to come along to games - especially those who have not been for a while or perhaps have never been".

Rob Couhig said: "The excitement I like about it (the matchday experience at Adams Park) is that it's an event - an event you don't want to miss.

"We believe in having fireworks, we believe in having a great fan environment and it's our honest belief that once people come, they'll understand it's for everyone... it's an event for the community".
