A huge ‘Free Palestine’ poster has been put up on a building in Chesham.
The artwork, which is visibly noticeable within the town, is currently situated along Broad Street, a short walk away from Chesham’s train station.
The artwork is to show solidarity with those who have been impacted by the ongoing war between the country and Israel.
One motorist, who first noticed the poster at the start of this calendar year, said: “I was heading into Chesham to do a bit of shopping and I could see it painted or printed on a wall from a mile off.
“It’s very noticeable.”
The conflict between the two nations first began in 1948, but on October 7, 2023, hostilities increased when Hamas, a militant group from Palestine, coordinated a series of attacks in boarding areas of Israel.
Following the attacks, tensions have risen in the Western World as citizens have clashed over their support of either Palestine or Israel, which has led to mosques and synagogues getting vandalised.
