River levels near the Thames from Bisham to Little Marlow have dipped below flood risk.

The update was released by the Environment Agency on January 12 at 10.41am, stating that flooding is no longer anticipated for properties close to the River Thames.

The forecast also predicts a dry day followed by a dry night.

However, caution is advised over icy conditions that the cold snap is likely to bring.

A flood warning remains effective for the broader region, signifying potential disruption on roads and low-lying lands.

Officials have expressed that they will maintain vigilance on the forecast and reinstate the warning if necessary.

The previously marked flood warning area included Marlow Bridge Lane, Quarry Wood Road, Lock Island, Gossmore area, Meadow Close, Pike Close, Pound Lane and Garnet Court among other places.

The threat to these areas has now been withdrawn as the River Thames continues to recede slowly.
