A MAN has been banned from driving after being caught speeding in Amersham.
Kleanth Malja, 30, from St Paul Close, Uxbridge, was captured twice exceeding the speed limit of 30 mph on a restricted road by a automatic camera device.
He committed the offence while driving his Mercedes with the registration number PF15AKG on Station Road, Amersham, in Buckinghamshire, on December 18, 2022.
Malja had entered a guilty plea when he appeared virtually at the Single Justice Procedure on October 20, 2023.
The court sentenced him to pay a fine of £138, in addition to a £55 surcharge for victim services and £90 in costs.
A collection order was made for the total balance of £283.
Having admitted his guilt, the court disqualified Malja from holding or getting a driving license for a period of six months, given his history of repeat offending.
The court also updated his personal details and endorsed his driving record. A notification of Malja’s conviction was sent to the DVLA.
