A restaurant along the Buckinghamshire/Hertfordshire border has recently received a new food hygiene rating.
The Stag, which is based in Chorleywood has enjoyed many customers from the Thames Valley and got a score of five out of five following an inspection in January this year.
The establishment was made aware of their triumph in the week commencing February 5.
In a very brief Facebook post, the pub and restaurant said they were ‘proud’ of their ‘small team’ for ‘keeping standards up’.
On Google, the Long Lane venue boasts many popular reviews with an average score of 4.4 from 418 testimonials.
This review reads: “We’ve had several family meals in The Stag over the last few months and have enjoyed every visit.
“The food is excellent, tasty and cooked to perfection, great atmosphere and a comfortable atmosphere.
“The staff and managers are very attentive and make sure that it is a great experience.
“Will visit again, many thanks.”
