A new Montessori nursery has opened in Loudwater, High Wycombe, with the help of Mayor Paul Turner cutting the ribbon on Thursday, February 15.

Busy Bees will be providing care and early years education to 85 children within the age bracket of three months to five years on Boundary Road.

Situated within a recently renovated three-storey listed building, Montessori by Busy Bees, offers a stimulating environment for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers to grow and develop.

The nursery supports children with self-directed learning, independent exploration, and collaborative play in line with the Montessori method of teaching, originally developed by Maria Montessori.

Nitin Jain, appearing enthused over the opening, commented about the ground breaking facilities that the establishment brings along.

Nitin Jain, managing director at Montessori by Busy Bees, said: “We are so proud to officially open our stunning new nursery, offering parents in High Wycombe the opportunity to discover more about the Montessori teaching method.

"Our Montessori nursery in High Wycombe is now our flagship centre in the UK, boasting a generous garden area and three floors with dedicated rooms tailored to the needs of each age group.

“We’ve had a fantastic couple of days celebrating our official opening, alongside our extraordinary team of educators who cannot wait to show parents inside our beautiful home-from-home environment and provide children with the best start in life.”

Montessori by Busy Bees at High Wycombe further showcases a vision of ushering in sustainable modes of travel by instituting a cycle rack and electric vehicle charging bays for the use of their faculty and parents, along with a buggy store for parents who tread their way to and from the nursery.

Lisa Humphreys, the centre director at Montessori by Busy Bees at High Wycombe said: "I’m delighted to be part of the team here at High Wycombe as we welcome the first families through our doors.

"It’s such a privilege to be able to share the Montessori method of teaching with the community."

Montessori by Busy Bees has masterfully blended the Montessori curriculum with components from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, preparing the children for a seamless transition to their next key stage.
