A PRE-INQUEST review is due to take place later today into the death of a young woman who died in a horror crash near Beaconsfield.

Alisha Saeed, 23, died after a crash on the M40 motorway on Monday, May 22, which saw four people arrested.

An inquest opening into her death is due to be heard at Beaconsfield Coroner's Court on Thursday (February 22).

The purpose of the inquest is to find out who the deceased person was and how, when and where they died and to provide the details needed for their death to be registered.

Speaking in May last year, Alisha's family said 'her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.'

In a joint statement by Saima, Jan, and the family, they said: “Alisha was more than just a daughter and sister; she was a kind-hearted angel who brought joy and happiness to everyone she met. Her infectious smile and warm personality lit up every room she entered, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.

“The loss of Alisha is immeasurable. She was taken from us far too soon, but her memory will live on forever in our hearts."
