Aldi is boosting wages for Bucks-based staff for the second time this year, retaining its title as the area's top-paying supermarket.
From June 1, Aldi Store Assistants and Deputy Store Managers in Buckinghamshire are earmarked for a 40p per hour pay increase, with those inside the M25 receiving a 10p an hour rise.
The pay raise reflects Aldi's ongoing commitment to its employees; they were the first to guarantee a minimum hourly wage of £12.00 for store and warehouse staff outside the M25 and £13.55 for those within in February.
The new raises will bring the hourly wage to £13.55 for colleagues within the M25 and £13.65 for others.
Aldi is also unique in offering paid breaks, providing more than £900 annually for an average employee.
