Buckinghamshire Council has released a revised schedule for bin collection over the Easter weekend, from Friday, March 29 to Monday, April 1.

In addition to the collection date changes, the opening hours of Household Recycling Centres across Buckinghamshire will move to the summer hours of 9am to 6pm from Monday, April 1.

Thomas Broom, Cabinet Member for Climate Change and Environment at Buckinghamshire Council, said: “Easter is the time to enjoy great food and the company of our loved ones while celebrating the beauty of the spring.

“Easter eggs, like Christmas presents, can generate quite a lot of extra packaging to recycle. You can find advice on our website for what can be recycled, where it needs to go and even some handy tips for using leftovers creatively.”
