A new planning application has been submitted for a 32m high 5G tower in south Buckinghamshire.
Cornerstone plans to upgrade existing equipment on a telecommunications mast at All Souls Farm, Uxbridge Road, George Green, Wexham.
This includes the installation of three new antennas, a 1,600mm dish, 1,300mm dish and internal cabin works.
Plans show the existing site located just off the main road next to a field used for livestock.

Cornerstone, which manages and owns over 20,000 mobile infrastructure sites across the UK, said the new 5G equipment in Wexham would ‘not cause significant and irremediable interference’ with other nearby electrical equipment or air traffic.
5G is the fifth generation of mobile wireless technology, offering faster speeds and greater connectivity than 4G.
Cornerstone said: “The technology will see us all move from something we experience through personal devices to an integrated infrastructure across buildings, transport and utilities.”
