A drug dealer has been jailed for two years after police caught him with more than 60g of cocaine.

Kenny Madgwick, 33, of Chappell Close in Aylesbury, was caught with 60.8g of cocaine – an amount that has a street value of over £6,000 – in Norwich on November 20, 2023, following coordinated work by Thames Valley Police and the Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies.

He was charged on November 21 and pleaded guilty to supplying and attempting to supply the class-A drug during an appearance at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on the same day.

The 33-year-old was sentenced to two years in prison at Aylesbury Crown Court on Friday, March 22.

Investigating officer PC Levi Fenson said the sentence “sends a message that drug dealing will not be tolerated in Aylesbury” and that police would be “robust” in their response.

He said the force would continue to “proactively target and prosecute” offenders to “protect vulnerable members of the community”.

Adding: “Our activity will be both visible and covert, aimed at disrupting and pursuing offenders involved in the supply of drugs.”
