The Met Office is forecasting a relatively gloomy weekend in Buckinghamshire - although things may ease up towards the end of Sunday (April 28).

Conditions are expected to be overcast throughout Saturday (April 27), with temperatures set to peak at 10 degrees in the early evening.

After this, residents should prepare for rainfall - some of it heavy.

For Saturday's forecast, the Met Office has said: "Some bright or sunny spells across the far south and southeast this morning, but perhaps a few sharp showers developing. Elsewhere cloudy with outbreaks of rain gradually easing.

"This afternoon rain, often heavy, will spread north across the region."

While varying in intensity, the rainfall is expected to continue intermittently into Sunday afternoon.

Towards the end of Sunday - around 4pm - it is thought the rain will abate.

There may even be sunny intervals in the evening, although conditions will remain cloudy until much later.

Also at this point, it is predicted that temperatures could peak around 10 degrees once again.
