A teenager who disappeared from Aylesbury over a week ago has been found by police after her family released a plea for her to ‘come home’.
Iris, 17, from Aylesbury, disappeared from the Buckinghamshire town on Friday, May 3.
In the days following, Thames Valley Police released three separate appeals for information and said they were “extremely concerned” for her welfare.
The teenager was found yesterday (May 13) shortly after her mother released a statement reassuring her daughter that she was “not in trouble” and that they loved her and wanted her to come home.
The force released an appeal for information about a man pictured with Iris in CCTV footage the day after her disappearance on Sunday (May 12), but said officers are no longer seeking to speak to him.
