BRAVE souls are being recruited to hunt ghosts around a haunted manor in an event to raise money for a leukaemia charity.
On October 11 the amateur ghost busters will be kitted out with 'ghost hunting equipment' and turned loose to explore the nooks and crannies of Bisham Abbey in Bisham for any elusive spooks.
Visitors will be guided by 'psychic' Ian Lawman who appeared in TV's Most Haunted, and any money raised will go to the Anthony Nolan Trust.
Anna Spencer, fundraiser for the trust, said: “This is a fundraising event with a difference where participants will be pushed to the limits, whilst raising life saving funds for the charity.
"Participants will get the chance to use the latest ghost hunting equipment to try and encounter paranormal activity.
"If you ever fancied taking part in a ghost hunt, this is the ultimate challenge for you.”
Bisham Abbey was built around 1260, and is rumoured to have been cursed by the Abbot of Bisham, John Cordery.
Some visitors claim to have seen the ghost of Lady Elizabeth Hoby, whose son died after she left him locked in a room while she went to court in London.
Entry costs £20, which pays for the event. All visitors need to raise £100 in sponsorship, which will go to the Anthony Nolan Trust.
The trust finds potential bone marrow donors for leukaemia patients.
