STAFF at Homebase and Argos in High Wycombe celebrated the launch of the a British Heart Foundation campaign by turning up at work wearing red outfits at the weekend.

The Red for Heart campaign aims to encourage people to go red and raise money to fight against UK's biggest killer, heart and circulatory disease.

Jackie Skeel, Head of National Campaigns at BHF said: “We are very grateful to Homebase and Argos for actively backing this campaign and encouraging all staff to wear red to work”.

Shafiqur Rahman , a manager of Homebase, London Road said: “ We are thrilled to be taking part in the BHF's campaign to celebrate National Heart Month”.

Every year 200,000 people die from heart and circulatory disease in the UK, and the two companies are working with the charity to raise more than £2m in the next 18 months.
