FAST-FOOD chain McDonalds has applied to serve food on a 24-hour basis at the new Motorway Service Area near junction 2, Beaconfield, of the M40.
So far it is the only outlet at the Extra service station, opening on March 17, to apply to sell hot food through the night. Stores not selling hot food can remain open without permission.
South Bucks District Council said any objections to the plan must be in by Monday, but so far none have been received.
