U.F.Os spotted over Chesham

MYSTERIOUS bright lights appeared in the sky over Chesham last weekend.

Three orange lights were spotted by residents Ian and Jan Knight near their home in Hollybush Road, Great Hivings, at 11pm on Saturday 14.

The unexplained objects did not make any noise before gradually getting dimmer and disappearing from view.

Mr Knight, a 43-year-old pricing analyst, said he was certain the lights were not from low-flying aircraft.

He said: “We know we are under the Heathrow flightpath and we know the directions the planes fly in and the noises they make.

“I have never seen a line of orange lights and they were too dim to be lights on an aircraft. It couldn't have been a helicopter as it was deadly silent.

“They gradually got dimmer and disappeared one at a time within five minutes. They had just gone.”

Mr Knight said he attempted to photograph the strange lights on a digital camera, but nothing came out.

Wife Jan initially spotted the lights and called out to her husband to ask if he could see the same thing as her.

However, nobody else in Hollybush Road saw them.

“I asked my friend across the road and some others and no one else saw or heard anything,” said Mr Knight.

“Someone asked me if I had been drinking, which I hadn't.”

He added: “I went straight on the internet after it had happened to find if there had been any sightings in Chesham and saw on the Bucks Free Press website there was a report from 2007 where someone saw something similar.

“I didn't disbelieve and I didn't believe but this just seemed so strange, I couldn't explain it. We were up until one o'clock in the morning looking on the internet trying to see if anything came up.”

Interesting! We've had reports like this before and they were dismissed as someone letting off chinese lanterns at a party. I quite like the idea of aliens hovering above us, perhaps they can abduct some of the chav's hanging around in Eden n turn em into nice polite helpful people?

Booooring.

Every time someone sees "something" in the sky that isn't immediately identifiable, it's a story. No it isn't.
